Liz Nutter Obituary

Sept. 24, 1953 - Dec. 25, 2020 Liz passed away suddenly on Christmas Day at her home in Colton, CA. She battled kidney disease and diabetes also coupled with her mobility but she enjoyed life with her grandchildren, her new great granddaughter and her many friends. Liz graduated from Colton High School in 1971 and found that engineering was her interest. She married David Hernandez and had two daughters. David passed away in December 2012. Liz is survived by her mother Stella Hillary; her two daughters Vonetta and Vanessa; two sisters Yvonne Anderson and Jeanette Tapia; one brother Rudy Tapia Jr.; seven grandchildren Vanprice, Davina, Sedra, Romeo, Zeke, Aiden and Alexa; and great granddaughter Genevieve. She was loved by many many nieces and nephews and cousins and many friends especially Tish and Cindy. After graduation Liz went to work at Bourns where she met and married the love of her life Craig Nutter. They were together for many many years until his sudden passing in 2009. Liz and Craig will now rest in eternal peace together. Liz and I attended mass at Holy Rosary in San Bernardino and went out to eat every Sunday. 2020 took its toll on us. I will miss our meals at Mitlas. Our trips to Stateline and Laughlin. Me in a scooter pulling Liz in her wheelchair. God bless my dear friend, you will be missed by everyone. You are now joined in eternal rest with Craig. We will miss you Liz till we all meet again. Due to COVID-19 there will be no immediate services. Family plans on celebration of life sometime early 2021. In the meantime the family welcomes and appreciates your thoughts and remembrances where they may be shared at the newspaper online registry.

My bratty momma, I will think and miss you every minute or second. We were together day and night and it’s hard to think or believe and except reality that I won’t hear your voice or see your face. I love you my beautiful momma! Our bond we shared kept us together no matter what! At times I felt like we were joined like Siamese twins. The journey ahead that I face will be a challenge but I will make sure I keep it how you wanted and I won’t say screw it. I know you are up above to help and guide me and I can’t wait to see you once again when it’s time. And we played September as you wished. I told you the issues I was gonna have to face without you and now it’s a reality but I know like we discussed I will get thru it.. love and miss you so much and wish you were here with us. You are a jack of all trades and happy I got to realize how skilled and knowledgeable you are and how you tried so hard to be the best mom you could to us!
