Grandma,

Sleep as the moon shines into your heart

dream of the beauty of Angel's souls like yours

with your eyes closed tight, dream on through the night

moon flowers bloom in your sighs

rest with the shining of the stars

with your eyes closed tight, dream on through the night

rest with the shining of the stars.

The child lullabies you sing to the moon

are as sweet as the lullabies the moon sings to you

with your eyes closed tight, dream on through the night

your breath is soft like the sandman's eyes

rest with the shining of the stars

with your eyes closed tight, dream on through the night

rest until the gleam of the sun

steals all your memories of the stars away

Love Always,

I remember Mrs. Alvarado, to some she was referred to as "Mom", as my friend Crissy's grandmother, and as an aide at Roosevelt Elementary school, when I was a child. Her presence was felt during lunch hour; all the students made sure that they were on their best behavior when she was around. She definitely kept all of the kids in order. "Mom" will be truly missed.

Dear Mom,

I'm sorry it took me so long to write to you. Until now I haven't known exactly what to say. Thank you for welcoming me into your family. I enjoyed all of the times we spent together. I just wish we had more time together. I know this may sound corny, but I want to thank you for instilling the wonderful qualities in your son that you did like kindness, compassin, love, generosity, tenderness, and much more. I wish I had found him sooner, but I believe that we met in God's perfect time. Although you will be deeply missed, I am glad that you are in a wonderful place and can feel no more pain or sorrow. I look forward to spending the rest of eternity with you.

All My Love,

Susanna Alvarado :)

Grandma,

Grandma you left us so quickly. I only have one memory of you and that is, when we went down to Cali. and it was raining, you scolded my parents by saying "Why did you bring the kids out in the rain", it was funny! Grandma, you were the best Great Grandma a great grand Daughter can ever have, you helped people when they were stuck in trouble, gave money to the poor, you lent out money to people in need, you always had food ready when ever anyone came to your house and they always had a place to stay. You were WonderWoman, I hope you rest in peace.

Love,

Mommy,

You left us so suddenly it's still difficult to believe your gone. Even when you were suffering, with yout last strength, you told me you loved me.

I now have your "Mothers Ring" and will treasure it as you did. It represents the family that you had in the placing of five stones (dad, you, Tina, John, and me).

Your high moral standards have taught us to endure their void and not fight among ourselves. We will share equally all you have left us as you wished. We will live in harmony as brother and sisters. We three are your children who can stand together.

You were always by my side and when God calls my name I will rest by your side for eternity.

I miss you but always will carry you in my heart and thoughts.

Lovingly,

Your Daughter

" I REMEMBER"

I REMEMBER ALL THOSE TALKS WE SHARED.

I REMEMBER ALL THE SMILES, AND ALL THE HUGS YOU SPARED.

I REMEMBER YOU BEING GRANDMA YOU BEING MOM, BEING MY EVERYTHING.

WHEN TIMES WERE ROUGH YOU WERE ALWAYS BY OUR SIDE.

PRAYING FOR US CONSTINTALY, TELLING US WE'D BE ALRIGHT.

YOU ALWAYS KEPT ME FOCUSED, WHEN I FELT HOPELESS.

I REMEMBER SEEING YOU IN THE GARDEN SMILING WATERING YOUR ROSES.

THE HAPPYNESS ON YOUR FACE, KEPT ME HAPPY TOO.

I REMEMBER EVERY LITTLE THING ABOUT YOU.

WHEN I WAS HUMGRY, YOU ALWAYS WOULD FEED ME.

WHEN I HAD NO MONEY YOU GAVE YOU'RE LAST DOLLAR,WHENI NEEDED SHOES YOU ALWATS SEEM TO KNOW.

I REMEMBER YOU ALWAYS HAD ME CLOTHED.

I REMEMBER YOU ALWAYS HAD A TRICK UP YOUR SLEEVE, AND NO MATTER WHAT "GRANDMA" WAS GOING TO DO WHAT SHE PLEASED.

I KNOW GRANDMA LEFT US BEHIND SO SHE COULD BE WITH THE FATHER UP IN HEVEN.I KNOW WE'LL SEE AGAIN. BUT UNTIL WE MEET I WANT TO LET YOU KNOW I LOVE YOU MORE THAN ANYTHING . REST IN PEACE.

LOVE, MARKIE

Grandma, I thank our Lord for placing you as the pinacle of our family. Many of us will miss the wonderful breakfast talks and laughter we all shared around your table. I know we will meet at God's table and pick-up where we left off. Take care of the Lord and we shall see you in his good time. Love you! Rob

Dearest Grandma,

My best memory of you and I,comes from when I was 7 yrs. old. I was at your house spending some time with you and uncle john. Uncle John was outside washing his little red car in the driveway. John was smoking a cigarette...and was done, he threw it on the ground and it was still lit. My brother Robert was there

too. Robert picked up the cigarette-took a puff on it, chocked a bit, then threw it down too. Well, like big brother, I had to copy im, so I tried to take a puff on it....and John caught me. He took me and Robert inside to tell you....and you had Robert & I eat hot chili peppers from your garden as punishment. Naturally, Robert ate his pepper up,and asked for another, but me....I cried like the seven year old I was. My lesson was well taken.Since then I have never picked up a cigarette, and I love you for it. That was a great memory that I will forever remember as good times of my life, or how we were low income one Christmas-and all I got for X-Mas was one set of Mickey and Pluto pajamas. Which I wore every

single day and night cause it was the best thing I loved.Still love to this day!

So many great times-not enough room to write-they will be in my heart forever...

.I love you always,love kevin

To the Best Grandma in the whole wide world. I miss you Dearly, especially calling you on the and talking to you for hours. You were and will always be the Best in my Heart. I want to Thank you for everything that you have given me and also helping my mom raise me. I remember when you use to take me and pick me up from school. We always use to go to AM PM, Thrifty's, Kmart or McDonalds and eat at the park. From there we use to pick up Grandpa Chilo. When Grandpa would come out from work you use to tell me to hide in the car. I remember the time you got a speeding ticket trying to rush to pick Leonard and I up so we weren't late for school. There are so many memories and not enough room to write. I will have lots of Good Memories always in my Heart. You kept telling me you wanted to rest and that you were tired. Now you can Rest Peacefully. I know you are Happy now. I Love you always and forever. Miss you much.

Love always

Your Granddaughter,

Crissy Luna

Mom, You touched my life more than you'll ever know. I thank you for all you did for me. I thank you for the time you picked me up in Temecula. It was 3 a.m. I was on a weekend pass out of San Diego. I was hitch-hiking and became stranded. It was cold and dark. I walked til I finally found a phone booth in the middle of nowhere. All I had in my pocket was a quarter. It was not enough for the long distance call. I told the operator I was a sailor on leave. She was kind enough to put me through to you. Thank you and Pop for coming after me. My prayers will be with you. Always, Michael
