Mr.D was indeed a great man.I was in his Speech and Debate class...the class will never be the same without him. But we shall move on and make him proud with the knowledge that he did give us. We will make him proud.

Mr. DeGroff was a man who inspired so many to succeed and be victorious. A man who was a dad to so many. As a dear friend of mine uttered the words, the words of his death, I began to cry. I couldn't believe I was hearing what I was hearing. I couldn't believe such an awesome man, is gone. I was looking forward to my sister being influence by this man, as she would have as she enters high school next year. Sadly now she only gets the stories I have experienced. Robert DeGroff was a man of intelligence, a man full of kindness. He wasn't just a teacher, he was a preacher of knowledge. I am forever thankful to him. I completely believe I speak one of hundreds, who have been touch by him. We have lost a friend, brother, and a dad but heaven, has won a mighty spirit.

To the man who will always be remembered in my heart as "Big Daddy D!"

We Love you and miss you! But you will not be forgotten!
