Brian R. Wood, 59, of Frackville, passed away Sunday, June 19, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Pomona, California, he was a son of Norma R. Wood, Frackville, and the late Ross J. Wood Jr.
Brian last worked in maintenance at the Sealy Mattress Manufacturer, Frackville.
He was an avid golfer, enjoyed playing competitive golf and played many rounds with his late father.
In addition to his mother, Brian is survived by two sisters; Deborah Wood, Cocoa, Fla., and Pamela Zefferi; a niece, Jolene Zefferi; five grandsons, Dominic, Damian, Dakota, Nico and Noah Streisel; and cousins.
A visitation for family and friends to celebrate Brian's life will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Albert L. Gricoski Funeral Home, Frackville. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.

Norma,Pam and Debbie. I'm sorry to learn of Brian's passing. I offer my sincere condolence. Jay often talked about Brian being his partner in the Post Office golf tournaments. I know Brian loved his adopted family as much as his own.May he rest in peace
