Eric R. Myers, 50, of Pottsville, died Thursday, Oct. 14, at home.
He was born Nov. 13, 1970, in Harrisburg, a son of Paul R. Myers and his wife, Shirley, Orwigsburg, and Carol Rothermel Gentry and her husband, Bruce, Pottsville.
He had worked for Ruby Tuesday restaurant as a cook.
In addition to his parents and step-parents, he is survived by his five children, Michael Myers, Pottsville, Erica Myers, Saint Clair, Haley Myers, Pottsville, Brittany Myers, Pottsville, and Logan Myers, Pottsville; one grandson, Charles Myers; a brother, Chad Myers, Saint Clair; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services celebrating the life of Eric will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct 30, at James E. Humphrey Funeral Home, Pottsville. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 9 a.m. until the time of the services at the funeral home. I am so sorry for the lost of Eric he was a great childhood friend growing up we went to School together Eric was always a nice person to me and we always talked when we seen each other or just shot a game of pool i will miss you my friend your in good hands with god
