Harold Clarence Ebling, 91, of Pottsville, passed away Friday, Jan. 14, 2022, at Geisinger St. Luke's Hospital, Orwigsburg.
Born Nov. 2, 1930, in Pottsville, he was a son of the late William and Flora (Miller) Ebling.
Harold was a graduate of Pottsville High School, Class of 1951.
He served in the Army during the Korean War from 1952 until 1954.
He was owner and operator of H.M. Ebling Glass, Pottsville, and was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Nicholas Ebling; four brothers, Joseph, Irvin, William and Raymond Ebling; three sisters, Dorthea Snyder, Betty Mullins and Joyce Ebling.
Harold is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary Elizabeth (Konkus) Ebling, Pottsville; a daughter, Mary Landry, Texas; four sons, Harold Ebling and his wife, Lisa, Mount Carbon, Zachary Ebling, Pottsville, Matthew Ebling and his wife, Tracey, Wernersville, and Keith Ebling and his wife, Kristin, Schuylkill Haven; five grandsons, Christopher, Harold, Russie, Nathan and Lucas; a step-granddaughter, Bobbie Lynn; fifteen great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven, on Wednesday, Jan. 19, at 10:30 a.m., with Monsignor Edward Zemanik officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Ambrose Church. Interment with military honors in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Pottsville. Robert A.
