Jody Yoder Obituary

Jody L. Yoder, 54, of Hamburg, died unexpectedly Friday morning in her residence.
She was the wife of Neil D. Yoder.
Born in Pottsville, she was the daughter of Frances M. "Mollie" Faust Emerich, Deer Lake, and the late Earl E. Emerich.
She was a 1973 graduate of Blue Mountain High School.
She and her husband owned and operated Electric Repair Co., Reading, where she was the vice president and secretary/treasurer since 1986.
Jody was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Hamburg. She was also a member of Women of the Moose No. 786, Hamburg.
Surviving, in addition to her husband and mother, are two daughters, Stacey B. Yoder, wife of Bradley J. Welker, Windsor Township, Berks County, and Melissa D. Yoder, wife of Melvin D. Miranda, Bernville; a grandson, Myles D. Miranda.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday from Leibensperger Funeral Homes Inc., Hamburg. The Rev. Willard J. Uhler Jr. will officiate. There will be no viewing. Interment will be in Schuylkill Memorial Park. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Humane Society of Berks County, 1801 N. 11th St., Reading, PA 19604, or the Animal Rescue League of Berks County, P.O. Box 69, Mohnton, PA 19540.

Dear Neil and Family
I could not believe it when you told me Jody was gone. Glenn was just as shocked. We are both so sorry for your loss. It was always fun to come into Electric Repair and hear stories about the grandson. She was truly proud of that little boy. We always had a good laugh about the way I took care of my dogs. Jody will certainly be missed by everyone who knew her. Neil, anytime, if you need anything, please call us. You are in our thoughts.

Neil and family, I was deeply saddened to hear of Jody's passing. What a shock and another reminder of how precious our life on earth is. I know that you all made the most of your days and your memories with your wife/mother will always be close at hand. I know that Jody is in a better place and is watching down on all of you. To the Yoder/Emerich Family:
To say I was shocked when I read about Jody's passing would be an understatement. I just received an e-mail from her just a few weeks ago after not hearing from her in years. I was so happy to get back in touch with her!
Jody was one of my closest friends in high school and we spent hours talking and laughing during band practices and football games. When I think back to high school, Jody is at the top of my memories.
Please accept my condolences and my sincere sympathy. Please know that all that knew her mourn her passing.

Jody was a great kid & now a woman. She was a wonderful wife,daughter mother & grandmother & always a friend.I attended grade school at the Auburn grade school, now long gone and later High School at Blue Mt High with Jody.Losing touch after Graduation we were reunited again when her daughter Stacey married Brad. One of my fondest memory was Christmas 2 years ago. Brad & I had her laughing sooo hard about the special candy. Jody will be missed by many. We send our sincere condolences to the entire family.
