John Joseph Gossick, 87, of Elkton, Md., formerly of Newark, Del., peacefully passed away Monday, March 6, 2023.
Born Nov. 9, 1935, in New Philadelphia, he was a son of the late John W. and Mary M. Shevokis Gossick.

He is survived by his children, John Jr. (Patty), Forest Hill, Md., Glenn (Nikki), Davison, Mich., and Tricia, Alexandria, Va.; grandchildren, Chelsey Budynkiewicz (RJ), John T. and Joseph C. Gossick; great-grandchildren, Rhett and Reese Budynkiewicz; former wife, Marie; and sister, Mary Ellen Ray (Charles), Harrisburg.

A wonderful, loving Uncle. From bringing fresh Maryland crab to delicious pies when he visited Blanche and family, Uncle Johnny was kind, caring and always, always smiling. We will miss you dearly.
