Joseph Walukiewicz, 72, of Shenandoah, passed away Friday, July 5, 2024, at his home.
Born in Shenandoah, on Dec. 6, 1951, he was a son of the late Ed and Margaret (Zimnitsky) Walukiewicz.
Joe was a 1970 graduate of the former J.W. Cooper/Shenandoah Valley High School. He worked for the railroad doing maintenance. Joe also liked to collect Lionel trains and had a green thumb for gardening.
The surviving family includes his brother, Edward Walukiewicz, of Shenandoah; his sister, Roseann Kenney with her husband, John, of Pottsville; and his dear friend and neighbor, Debbie Abrachinsky.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 11, at 10 a.m. in the Our Lady of Fatima Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights. The Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc., Shenandoah, are entrusted with the arrangements. To offer condolences, please visit www.oravitzhomeforfunerals.com.
