June Miller Zimmerman Marsicano, 101, of Pine Grove, passed away Friday, June 28, 2024, in Providence Place, Pine Grove.
Born on April 9, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Mabel (Miller) Zimmerman and Frank Zimmerman.
She graduated from Pine Grove High School in 1940. On May 1, 1943, she married John Marsicano, who passed away in 1990. June worked for FoxKnapp for many years. She later assisted her husband at his businesses.
She was also predeceased by two infant brothers and her son-in-law, J. Allan Shoener.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol Shoener, of Louisiana, Mo.; six grandchildren:, Sue (Tony) Salisbury, Waynesboro, Pa.; Jeffrey (Jill) Shoener, Dover, Pa.; Holly (Kurt) Russell, Louisiana, Mo.; Heather (Craig) Houp, Reading, Pa.; Michael (Lauren) Shoener, Kansas City, Mo.; Jonathan (Ashley) Shoener, Columbia, Mo.
She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, Ryan, Curtis, Daniel, Jay, Hannah, Marie, Calynn, Ellis and Matthew; and three great-great-grandchildren, Ryder, Reid and Turner.
June was a Protestant by faith.
All services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer a donation to a charity of your choice in June's memory. The H.L.
