Ruby Tobias Obituary

Ruby L. Tobias, 87, of Schoolyard Square, Pine Grove, formerly of Tremont, died Friday at the Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Fountain, Aug. 9, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Myrtle Stutzman.

She had been a beautician in Tremont for 45 years.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Tremont.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne, and a sister, Marian Hoffman.

Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Arthur Tobias; a son, Donald, husband of Janet Tobias, Collegeville; a brother, Donald, husband of Grace Stutzman, Hegins; a sister-in-law, Sandra Stutzman, Hegins; and two granddaughters, Stephanie, Gilberton, and Jacqueline, Port St. Lucie, Fla.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Minnig-Berger Funeral Home, Tremont. The Rev. Maureen Duffy-Guy will officiate. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of services Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Friedens Cemetery, Hegins. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 2, Tremont, PA 17981.
