William Ronald Daubert, 90, of Pine Hill Road, Pine Grove, passed away Sunday, Jan. 28, 2024, in Providence Place, Pine Grove.
Born March 21, 1933, in Pine Grove, he was a son of the late Charles Jr. and Margaret Wenrich Daubert.
He was a 1951 graduate of Pine Grove High School.
William was a dairy farmer and was a member of the Brown Swiss Association, where he served as national director for eight years.
He was a member of the Schuylkill Church of the Brethren, Pine Grove, where he was a deacon, taught Sunday school for over 50 years and was on the cemetery board.
He was also a member of the Roedersville Rod, Fish & Gun Club. He was an Agway Representative, coached Little League and played softball. He loved hunting and traveling. He traveled all over the world, including all 50 states in the U.S., with the Brown Swiss Association.
Preceding him in death were three brothers, Martin, Gerald "Gerry" and Clifford Daubert, and two sisters, Marian Dohner and Mary Ellen Moyer.
Surviving are his wife of 70 years, Rhoda Spittler Daubert; two daughters, Rhonda and husband, Ernest Spittler, of Pine Grove, and Anne and husband, Dennis West, of Blandon; four sons, Dean and wife, Brenda Daubert, of Batavia, N.Y., Dennis and wife, Sharon Daubert, Ronald Ray and wife, Melanie Daubert, and Allen and wife, Ann Daubert, all of Pine Grove; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at noon Friday, Feb. 2, at Schuylkill Church of the Brethren, 347 Sweet Arrow Lake Road, with Michael Barnhart, Galen Hackman and Glenn Martin officiating. There will be a viewing from 10:30 until noon Friday at the church. Interment will follow in Schuylkill Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Pine Grove. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions in his memory be made to Schuylkill Church of the Brethren, C/O Lois Lehman, 26 Pine Hill Road, Pine Grove, PA 17963. H.L.
