Clara Marie Snyder

LYKENS- Clara Marie Snyder, age 90, died February 3, 2026, at Providence Place in Pine Grove. She was born on July 1, 1935 in Elizabethville, PA the daughter of [the late] Ira and Mary (Strawser) Bechtel.

Clara was the widow of Harold Snyder.

She was a long time member and sang in the choir of the Lykens United Methodist Church.

Clara was a crossing guard for many years working for the Upper Dauphin School District. She also was a cleaning lady for the Lykens Boro for many years, and above all she cared for her home and raising her family. She enjoyed watching TV and doing word search, and visiting her neighbors.

She is survived by her three children, Harold Snyder Jr, Williamstown, Anna Hoy, Lykens, and Robert (Lori) Snyder. Lykens; 3 Grandchildren Kevin, Sara, and Destin, and 3 Great Grandchildren, Sienna, Raylynn and Todd.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Noblit, brother, Ira Bechtel Jr., son-in-law, Scott Hoy and daughter-in-law, Terry.

There will be a visitation held at Minnich Funeral , WIlliamstown on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 10-11 AM. Services will start at 11 AM with Pastor John Lesher officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax.
