William Aduleit Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Minnich Family Funeral Homes, Inc. - Williamstown on Feb. 12, 2026.
LYKENS - William E. Aduleit, 81, of Lykens, PA, formerly of Brooklyn, NY, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2026. He was born March 15,1944, in Brooklyn.

He worked for Novel Lithographics until retiring and later drove for the Amish. He eventually fulfilled his dream of country life in Pennsylvania, where his love of farms and his unique blend of city roots and rural living earned him the affectionate nickname "Brooklyn Bill" among family and friends. He was a devoted father of six and grandfather of eleven.

Known for his big heart, William helped anyone in need and was loved for his humor, strong faith, and his deep passion for the Bible and politics - passions that often sparked lively, spirited conversations around the table with family and friends. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on cars, gardening, and antiquing, but most of all he cherished time spent with his family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary; his parents, William and Tessie Aduleit; and his brother, Robert M. Aduleit.

Surviving are his children: William E. Aduleit Jr. of Brooklyn, NY; MaryEllen Nestor (Mike) of Lykens, PA; Timmy Aduleit of Brooklyn, NY; Christine Corbett (Chris) of Sugar Grove, IL; Susan Aduleit of Lykens, PA; and Robert Aduleit (Jennifer) of Lykens, PA; his sister, Theresa Murray (Tom) of Lisle, IL; his beloved nieces and nephews: John, Joseph, Candita, Ricky, and Michelle; and eleven grandchildren: Brendan Nestor, Damien Aduleit, Andrew Aduleit, Eileen Nestor, Max Nestor, Nicholas Corbett, Rowan Rickert, Zachary Corbett, Malachi Rickert, Bobby Aduleit Jr., and Abigail Aduleit.

He will be remembered for his generous spirit, strong faith, and the lively conversations that brought his family together. His legacy lives on through the family he loved so deeply and the memories shared by all who knew him.

Private services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the local food bank.
