Cindy R. Snyder

HALIFAX - Cindy Renee Snyder, age 68, of Halifax, PA died March 10, 2026, at Penn State Hershey Medical Center.

She was born on August 29, 1957 in Harrisburg, PA the daughter of the late Robert and Shirley (Troutman) Brown.

Cindy was a 1975 graduate of Halifax High School. She worked as a clerk at the original Sheetz, Halifax, and prior to that she worked at Leebro's Shirt Factory, Lykens.She enjoyed having conversations with people and was very good at remembering people and faces, even after only meeting them once. She enjoyed the beach, and making crafts to give away to others. She loved spending time with her companion Dennis of 40 years and his children, grandchildren, her family, and friends. She loved having her yearly 3-day yard sale.

She is survived by her companion Dennis Webster of Halifax, sisters Tammy Watson (Larry) of Harrisburg, Robin Brown (Robert Sheriff) of Harrisburg, brother Robert C. Brown, II (Justine) of Lykens, an uncle John Brown (Sandy) of Duncannon, and multiple stepchildren, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Sheryl A. Washington and a granddaughter Cheyenne Bates.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March17, 2026 at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home, Ltd. - Millersburg from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax.
