James H. "Red"

Holladay, Jr.

James H. "Red" Holladay, Jr. fought the good fight and won. He went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at home surrounded by his loving wife, Helen, and two dogs.

Red is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Helen Gregg Holladay; their daughters, Anna (Chris) Harris and Morgan Holladay; his son, Jimmy (Terry) Holladay and grandson, William Holladay; brothers, Charlton (Libby) Holladay and Bill (Ann) Holladay; and sisters; Patsy (Jim) Allen and Ann (Jimmy) Lock.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at Florence Baptist Temple.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at Florence Baptist Temple. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to Florence Area Humane Society, P. O. Box 4808, Florence, SC 29502 or to Darlington County Humane Society, 1705 Adoption Way, Darlington, SC 29532.
