Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Allen Joseph Jarnot, age 72 of Sartell will be at 11AM on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sartell. Father Tim Baltes will officiate and burial will take place after the mass in St. Stephen. Allen died peacefully at his home early Friday morning surrounded by his family. Family and friends may gather from 9-11AM prior to the mass Thursday morning at the church in Sartell. Arrangements are being made with the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home in St. Cloud.

Allen was born October 3, 1940 to Frank and Agnes (Beniek) Jarnot in St. Cloud. He grew up on a farm near St. Stephen. Allen married Diane Kuklok on August 1, 1964 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Opole. The couple lived in the St. Stephen-Rice area before eventually moving to Sartell in 1988 where he lived the rest of his life. Allen worked for Vision-Ease as a plant superintendent before retiring in 2001. He was a proud member of the Stearns County Pioneer Club, the Knights of Columbus, and was also a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sartell.

Allen is survived by his wife, Diane, Sartell; his children, Julene (Douglas) Anderson, Alexandria, VA; Gary Jarnot, Sauk Rapids; his siblings, Emily (Art) Korman, St. Cloud; Clarence (Rosella) Jarnot, St. Joseph; Irma Nierenhausen, St. Cloud; and his sister-in-law Adeline Jarnot, Sauk Rapids.

His parents, Frank and Agnes Jarnot, his sister, Marcella Jarnot, his brothers, Damis and Elmer Jarnot, his sister-in-law, Marianna Jarnot, and his brother-in-law, Ralph Nierenhausen, precede him in death.
