Ann (Strom) Wessel was born to Clifford and Mary Sue Strom on December 3, 1968 in Cambridge, Minnesota. She grew up mostly in Minnesota with some of her life in Nebraska and Texas, but came back to Minnesota. Ann was a member of the Lions Club of Sauk Rapids, was the Executive Chair of Project New Hope, and also worked for Catholic Charities of St. Cloud until her illness would no longer let her work. Ann loved the outdoors; she spent a lot of her summers up in Sandstone at the river, or camping or just sitting around a fire with her family. She loved to go spend time in Canada or Goose Berry Falls. Ann's family was the most important to her. She loved the fun and laughter. She loved playing games such as cards (and her sister says cheating); also hosting Trivia Weekend. Ann was also a foreign exchange host to Michelle Surmenski and Alisha Fisher.

Ann is survived by husband, Scott of Sauk Rapids; very special friend, Thomas Staebler of Sauk Rapids; children, Laura (Michael) Lloyd of Renville, Abigail (Todd) Moldenhauer of Menomonie, WI, Emily (Kyle) Botts of Willmar, Henry Staebler of Sauk Rapids, Joshua Staebler of Sauk Rapids, Katelyn Staebler of Sauk Rapids; parents, Clifford (Cheryl) Strom of Brookings, SD, Mary Sue (Clayton) Mros of Buckeye, AZ, siblings, Betsy (Abduhl) Sabet of Lubback, TX, Christopher Strom of Wabasso, MN, and Judy (Steven) Reitan of Estelline, SD; grandchildren, William, Lillian, and Tristan Lloyd and Baby Botts on the way; three nieces; three nephews; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and true best friend, Dan Drong of Sauk Rapids. She is also survived by her mother and father-in-law, Allen (Ellen Bethel) Wessell; brothers-in-law, Jonathan Wessel, Steven Andreason; and sister-in-law, Amanda Wessel.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, step-grandmom, aunt, three uncles; and her exchange daughter, Alisha Fischer; mother-in-law, Nancy Staebler and Judy Andreason, father-in-law, Milton Andreason.
