Barbara Jane Kaess (Heim), age 89, of Lake Delton, Wis- consin (formerly of St. Paul, MN) passed away peacefully on April 26, 2016 in her beautiful home on Lake Delton.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at The Little French Church of St. Louis in St. Paul, MN on Thursday, May 5 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Paul Morrisey celebrating. Burial will be held at the Resurrection Cemetery in Mendota Heights, MN. A Visitation will be held before the Mass at the Willwerscheid Funeral Home, 1167 Grand Avenue, in St. Paul from 12:00 Noon until 1:15 p.m.

Barbara was born on June 12, 1926 in St. Paul, the daughter of Andrew and Rose (Murray) Heim. She married Richard Kaess in St. Paul on May 26, 1952. They spent 61 beautiful years together and raised two daughters, Paula and Lisa. She was a member of the Schmidt Drum and Bugle Corp for many years. She enjoyed traveling the country, marching in parades and many other festivities. Barbara was a faithful member of The Little French Church of St. Louis.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Lisa and son-in-law, Tom Gussel of Lake Delton, WI and their children, Andrea of Minneapolis, MN and Gavin of Boulder, CO as well as her loving son-in-law, Joseph Colucci of Newport, MN. She is further survived by her aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family in the St. Paul and St. Cloud area. She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, Richard and her daughter, Paula.
