Bradley McClintock Obituary

Bradley Noel McClintock, 40

Minneapolis

Formerly of Sartell

April 16, 1975 - July 24, 2015

Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Salem Lutheran Church in St. Cloud for Bradley Noel McClintock, age 40, who passed away Friday, July 24 at Lake Calhoun in Minneapolis after a very long struggle with anxiety and depression. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids and one hour prior to the services Saturday at the church in St. Cloud.

Brad was born April 16, 1975 in St. Cloud to Noel and Laurie (Pawlowski) McClintock. He lived in Sartell until graduating from high school (top 10%). Brad was a 1998 graduate of Mankato State University with a bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) Magna Cum Laude. He served six years in the Minnesota National Guard. Brad currently worked in Medical Sales for a large international company. He had an infectious smile and a very outgoing personality.

Brad's first priority was his family, which he loved so much. Brad also loved all wildlife and animals. He always had to have a dog or cat, even in college. Brad enjoyed running, all sports, and had a strong passion for year-around fishing, especially muskies. He looked forward to the annual Minneapolis Muskie Tournament, opening fishing, and ice fishing in the winter. Brad was the happiest when he was outdoors.

Brad is survived by his parents, Noel and Laurie McClintock of Sauk Rapids; sisters, Melissa Wilson (Travis M.D., Alex 15, Erika 12) of San Antonio, TX, Tammara Oliver (Jayson, Ayden 12, Ellie 10) of New Hudson, MI.

My thoughts and prayers are with the McClintock family. Brad had a smile that would light up the room. I enjoyed running into him back in the day at MSU, on nights out on the town, and at Fairview Southdale during nursing shifts. So sorry for your loss.

So saddened to hear of your loss. My son also suffers from the terrible disease of chronic depression and severe anxieties. He has attempted suicide several times, but fortunately he is still here. We have had numerous deep discussions about suicide and he reassured me it had nothing to do with what I did or didn't do, it had to do with life gets too difficult when you wake up each day fearing for what the day will bring. I know your son is in Jesus's arms as he realizes the pain your son suffered on earth with this disease.
