Justin Dean Johnson, age 39, of Lakeville, Minnesota, a beloved dedicated father of four and respected estates and trusts attorney entered into eternal life on Wednesday, August 13, 2014.
Justin was born on May 10, 1975 in Milaca, MN to Kevin Johnson and Patricia Johnson. He grew up on the family farm just northwest of Milaca and attended school in Milaca, graduating in 1993. He attended undergraduate school at St. Cloud State University graduating in 1998. He then attended William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul and graduated in 2001.
He was a valued partner at Stoel Rives, LLP in its Minneapolis office. He was a tremendously hard working, compassionate and earnest legal advisor to his vast spectrum of clients and aptly employed complex estate planning principles with ease. He will be remembered for his sharp wit, love of Paul McCartney and the Beatles, and Snickers bars. But mostly, Justin will be remembered for his uninhibited and unwavering deep love, devotion and dedication to his four children: Chloe (12), Claire (10), Carter (8) and Camden (4). Also survived by his wife Kate Westad, mother Patricia Johnson, father Kevin (Barb), brothers Clinton (Giselda, children: Jordan, Jaden, and Jenna) and Brandon (son: Braxton), grandfather Eugene Herbert and countless loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service: Christ Presbyterian Church, 6901 Normandale Rd. Edina, MN 55435 Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service.
Internment and Reception: Lakewood Cemetery, 3600 Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis, MN 55408 immediately following service.
Celebration of Life: Saturday, August 23, at Zion Lutheran Church, 245 Central Ave. S., Milaca, MN, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m.
