The Mass of Christian burial, celebrating the life of Lisa D. Gerads, age 45 of Opole, will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 23, at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in St. Stephen. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. There will be a visitation from 4-8:00 PM Monday and again after 10:00 AM Tuesday at the St. Stephen Parish Hall. St. Stephen parish prayers will be at 7:00 PM Monday at the parish hall. Arrangements are being made with the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home, Holdingford.
Lisa was born August 21, 1969 in St. Cloud to Kenneth and Marie (Aronson) Roering. She grew up in the Holdingford area. She married Randy Gerads on June 4, 1988 in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Holdingford. The couple farmed together near Opole. Lisa enjoyed being outdoors in her garden, camping and fishing. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her children. She was a member of the St. Stephen Catholic Church.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Randy Gerads, Opole, her mother, Marie Roering, Holdingford, her children, Justin, Ben and Lexi, all at home; and her brothers and sisters, Joan (Clint) Nelson, Foley; John Roering, Albany; Cindy (Wayne) Norberg, Royalton; Eugene Roering, Opole; Jim Roering, Elmdale; Jenny (Jason) Zwilling, Sauk Rapids; Judy (Robby) Schiffler, Albany; Josh Roering, Bowlus and Becky (Jeremiah) Smith, Albany.
Lisa is preceded in death by her grandparents and her father, Kenneth.

Dearest Lexi, We are so sorry to hear of your loss. We can not begin to imagine what a sad time this is for you and your family. Remember always that your mom will be with you in your heart and walking beside you each step of every day. We know that she was and is still so proud of the wonderful young lady that you are. I was saddened to hear about Lisa. My prayers go out to Lisa's family. I was one of Lisa's classmates in school. She always was such a fun and happy person. She will be missed. God Bless Her. Lisa (kremers) Yurczyk.

My Heart and prayers go out to Lisa's family, i am so sorry and saddened by the loss of such a beautiful person, I am also so thankful to have known such a loving friend as Lisa was one of my best friends growing up she was fun silly and I will always remember our time together.
