Uncle Max will be missed. His stories could entertain me for hours. While growing up, I always looked forward to him visiting us in Colorado and we would visit him when we were in Minnesota. I will remember the smile he always seemed to have. Though separated by distance, family was important, and he kept close ties with his. Nothing but fond memories.

I'm honored to have known Max and take comfort in the memories of a great man and friend. Max was always ready with a smile and a joke, maybe a story. I'll miss that. Love you Max.

Max always had a good story to share. Whether it be about him growing up on the farm or about fishing I could listen for hours on end. I will never forget him joking around and playing tricks on me and my brother when we were younger. He would always be grabbing and poking us and trying to get the other brother to come save the one caught. I will also never forget the memories up at the cabin with him. He will be deeply missed.

He was my Uncle-in-law and an amazing man. If it needed doing, fixing or commenting he was willing and able. Thanks for the memories
