Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 306 Norway Dr., Foley. For Mildred "Milly" L. Spiczka, 87, of Sartell who died Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the Mille Lacs Hospital in Onamia. Rev. Allan Jergenson will officiate. Burial will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call from 12:00 noon until the time of Services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Sauk Rapids.

Milly was born on December 10, 1924 in Sauk Rapids to Edward and Marie (Bliese) Sendy. She was married to Clarence Schley on April 7, 1945, They were married until Clarence's death in 1974. Milly was married to Roy Spiczka in 1978 at the First Presbyterian Church in Foley. She owned and operated Milly's Dress Shop in Foley from 1965 until her retirement in 1985. Prior to that she worked as a administrative assistant for the Benton County USDA office for 13 years. Milly was a very active member of First Presbyterian Church serving as an elder among other roles. She was also a member of the Foley Lions and the Cross Center. Milly enjoyed playing cards, traveling and painting. She will be remembered as a kind, supportive and loving person with a strong and independent personality.

Survivors include her daughter, Sandra Haydon of Rochester; grandchildren, Suzanne Haydon and Brian Haydon both of St. Paul; nieces and nephews, Barb Krmpotich, Mark Sendy, Gail Albright, Kathy VandeVerde, Jim Sendy, Connie Scott, Wayne Sendy and Ken Sendy. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Clarence Schley and Roy Spiczka; Brother, Herb Sendy; Son-in-law, Chuck Haydon; and nephew David Sendy.

Memorials are preferred to the First Presbyterian Church of Foley.
