Myrtle JONES Obituary
May 5, 1944 - May 1, 2013
Myrtle Jones, beloved wife of Ron Jones of Balzac, passed away following a long and courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, May 1, 2013. Myrtle will be remembered with love by her husband Ron; daughter (Carol) Rick; grandson Justin (Sabina); granddaughter Melissa; great- granddaughters, Sophie and Anna; five sisters, Helen Schlag, Anna (Maurice) Madsen, Jennie (George) Bernemann, Shirley Chicheluck, and Florence (John) Vanden Berg; one brother Harold (Helen) Guenther; as well as sisters and brothers-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. Myrtle was predeceased by her son Michael; daughter Cheryl; parents Katherine and John; and brother Edward. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to your local Food Bank or Women's Shelter. In living memory of Myrtle Jones, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park.
