Simon Schiffler Obituary
Minneapolis - Simon Schiffler age 33 of Mpls., died on February 14, 2018. Simon was born in Salt Lake City UT, graduated from Sauk Rapids/Rice High School and St Cloud Community and Technical College. He co-founded Trailer & Truck Equipment of Williston, a trailer and truck equipment dealership in Williston ND. He was a compassionate, creative, free spirited and independent thinker, not driven by material possessions. He was motivated by knowledge, travel and new experiences. He spent the last months of his life traveling, exploring and researching his next business endeavor. Simon is survived by his parents, Jim and Carrie of St Cloud; brother Eric, Eric's wife Sara & their son Finn of Williston ND, sister, Marina, Marina's husband Luke Wollak and their expectant son, Harrison of Hobe Sound, FL. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 22nd from 4:00 - 8:00 and will continue Friday, February 23rd from 10:00 - 12:00 at the Joy Christian Center. Funeral service at 12:00 Noon Friday at Joy Christian Center, 770 - 21st Ave NE, St Cloud. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers and all Memorials will be donated to enhancements to the future skate boarding park in St Cloud. Arrangements by Jones-Pearson Funeral Home 218-732-5131.

It's surreal to think I can never call Simon again to talk about his drone ideas or to meet up for dinner and share stories about our recent weeks events. I'm still in disbelief that he's really gone. Simon was always a caring friend who would go out of his way to make others feel valued and important. I miss you my friend.
