Donald Miller Obituary

MANCHESTER — Donald E. Miller, 65, of Manchester, formerly of Hampton and Somerville, Mass., died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2007, at Portsmouth Regional Hospital.

He was born May 10, 1942, in Webster, Mass., a son of the late Eli and Cora (Wood) Miller.

Mr. Miller was raised in Springfield, Mass., and later the family moved to Somerville, Mass., where he attended Somerville High School. He was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Air Force.

He was employed as a sales manager at the former Baird Corporation in Bedford, Mass., for 27 years and more recently worked for Teledyne Leeman Labs in Hudson.

Family members include his son, Elliott Miller and his wife, Laurie, of Pawtucket, R.I.; three daughters, Susan Leavitt and her fiancé, Dan Riley, of Candia, and Carly Miller and Mackenzie Miller, both of Exeter; four grandchildren, Nicole, Kristin, Justin and Joshua; two sisters, Judith Miller of Manchester and Elizabeth Anderson of Woburn, Mass.; and his brother, David Miller of Gales Ferry, Conn.

WE REMEMBER: He resided in Manchester the past 10 years. He was a longtime member of the National Rifle Association.

He will be missed by those who knew him.

SERVICES: Services will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. The family requests there be no visiting hours and flowers please be omitted. If desired, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 249 Canal St., Manchester, NH 03101.
