Linda DeNuzzio Obituary

Linda DeNuzzio
On Tuesday, April 27th, 2021 Linda DeNuzzio, loving mother and Lulu, passed away at the age of 67 after a long battle with cancer.
Linda was born on April 1, 1954 in Portsmouth, NH to the late Raymond Bernier and Mary (Marcello) Bernier. She graduated from Portsmouth High School in 1972, and spent many years working for NYNEX/Verizon as well as Pax World Funds and Clipper Harbor Nursing Home.
Linda always had a knack for putting others' needs before her own, whether it was someone she had known her whole life, or an individual that needed a helping hand that she had only known a brief time. Her family was of utmost importance to her and all of them knew how much they were loved and appreciated. Linda was also an avid music lover, especially anything by Elvis Presley. She enjoyed going to the movies, singing, dancing, and doing anything at all if it involved her two beautiful grandchildren, which were the lights of her life. She was known for her quick wit, her infectious laugh, and her compassionate spirit. She was an incredible mother, sister, aunt and Lulu, and we will cherish her memory forever.
Linda is survived by her son, Joseph, his wife Jessica, and their two children Brooke and Ben of Portsmouth, NH, her sister, April Cruz, and brothers William Bernier, John Bernier, and Thomas Bernier, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A family memorial service will be held at a later date and in lieu of flowers any donations can be made to Seacoast Cancer Center at https://www.wdhospital.org/wdhf/giving/donate-now
All arrangements have been made by Farrell Funeral Home.

My sister, I will miss you dearly. Always there to set the standard and to show me the way. You are my sister and my friend for eternity. I always looked up to you for guidance and you were always willing to give it. When I was younger I didn't always understand the importance of what you were teaching. As I grew older I came to appreciate the example you set for all of us. No matter how big the sacrifice you always, always did what you new was right. You were my liason to the older generations in our family. Teaching me ,setting the standard,.Then as time passed you became the matriarch of our family. I wondered where the time had went. You accepted the job with grace and dignity never skipping a beat. I admire you and always will. I'll miss you dearly! Your baby brother Billy.

Linda was the oldest of 5 children and my only sister. We shared a small bedroom throughout our childhood, and in that room she taught me how to dance, memorize all the lyrics to songs like “American Pie”, and a passion for fashion( to name a few). Sisters have a special bond that will never be broken and I’m forever grateful to have my sister forever in my heart ♥
Au Revoire Lulu!

My one and only big sister....The person who taught me so many things in life. From music to dancing to fashion, I owe it all to you Linny. You taught me how to drive a stick shift on the freeways of California and I taught you how to swim. We were the best of friends when we battled against our three brothers and mortal enemies when it came to sharing your cool, contemporary clothes. But through it all, I have nothing but the utmost respect , admiration, and love for my sister who taught me every word of “American Pie”

Linda was a delight whenever she came into the Clip Joint to get a haircut, we would laugh and she would tell me how proud of Joe that she was, a loving mom. My heart goes out to you Joe. Debbie Ann
