I only just learned of Barbara's passing. My condolences to your family. As others have posted, I have great memories of spending time at Vashion with Earle and Barbara and being around the Addis family. They also were a link to my deceased father, who served with Earle in the Navy. I remember a family story that my father had something to do with getting Earle posted in Seattle while in the Navy so that he and Barbara could be together.
I credit my love of sailing to Earle and Barbara for allowing me to sail (and nearly sink) their sailing dinghy at Vashion.
I came upon Barbara's obituary while looking up my father's service record. I found your family was honored as the holder of the 10 millionth ticket! At the Seattle Worlds Fair. I believe my family attended the fair with your family - before I was born.
About 12 years ago Earle and Barbara took the time to meet me and my family for lunch so that my children could learn something about their grandfather.
Barbara also gave me the name of a Aviation Medical doctor that I used for years and I am grateful for that.
Earle and Barbara made more of an impact in my life then they probably knew and I very much appreciated their friendship.

Many memories back to my childhood have moments that involved Barb and Earle. Their special relationship with my folks has always stuck with me. My thoughts are with the girls and their families.

Will treasure fond memories of Paradise Cove and the view of Colvos Passage with Barbara and Earle from their cabin deck on Vashon Island. With love, the Chapman family
