David Combs Obituary

Chief Warrant Officer David "Duke" Todd Combs

After a 10 month valiant battle with brain cancer, our mighty Warrior has gone home to be with his Lord.

Born July 7, 1963 to Robert & Carol Combs in Pasco, Washington. He leaves behind the love of his life, Lisa, and pride & joy son, Dalton.

After graduation from Lake Washington high school in 1981, Duke joined he US Army serving his country for 51/2 years. Upon returning to WA state he started Dukes Truck Repair in Seattle.

Feeling the call to give back, Duke rejoined the Army Reserves in 2006. He then achieved the rank of Chief Warrant Officer.

Between serving his country & working his business Duke made time to mentor his son and other young men in little league baseball, youth football and eventually becoming a defensive coach at Cedar Park Christian school.

Upon arrival in heaven Duke heard: "Well Done, Good and Faithful Servant"

Duke also leaves behind parents Bob & Carol, brothers Brad (Pam) and Scott (Heather), numerous nieces/nephews, great nieces/nephews and many other family and friends.

A celebration of his life will be held at Overlake Christian Church on November 11, 2012 at 2pm.

In lieu of flowers please donate to Wounded Warrior or the American Cancer Society.
