David Saperstein Obituary

David SAPERSTEIN March 9, 1945 - December 20, 2008 Son of Sylvia Saperstein, brother to Paul and Ralph, Anne Van Prooyen and Rose Singer, uncle to six nieces and nephews and nephew to his favorite aunt, Ruth Simon. He was a friend to the staff and residents at The Summit where he lived. Although he had many health challenges David embraced his life circumstances with optimism and grace. When he was sad or down, singing to the 60's beat brought him out of his funk. He was a proud Veteran who served in Korea in the 1960's. He could answer any question you might have about any car and loved a good laugh. His needs were few and his love was huge. He will be missed! Remembrances to The Summit Staff Appreciation Fund, 1200 University St. Seattle, WA 98101, Kidney Foundation or Disabled Veterans.
