I just learned of Dorian's death today at Bette Angel's memorial on Bainbridge Island. I worked with Dorian at Emmanuel from 2004-2007. She was a bright Irish light and a wonderful human being. I especially remember her loving kindness and generosity. We shared good times together, including a few lunches at the Roanoke! My condolences to her beloved family and friends at Emmanuel.

We will remember Dorian always open to a visit on her porch surrounded by the lovely vegetable patches. When our water heater burst and we were overwhelmed, Dorian kindly dropped everything and flew to the rescue. She took charge and got help on the way. We will miss her dearly. Godspeed Dorian.
