Elizabeth Brennan Obituary
1934 ~ 2014
Sister Elizabeth Ann Brennan, CSJP, a Sister of St. Joseph of Peace, died on April 6, 2014 in Seattle, Washington. She was born on November 9, 1934 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of John Michael and Cecilia Ann Brennan.
She was a Sister of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Dubuque, Iowa, for 37 years. In 1990, Elizabeth transferred to the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace in Bellevue, Washington.
Her love of learning, spirituality and prayer was reflected in her many ministries, including educator, parish associate, retreat and spiritual director and administrator. Her family, friends and Sisters will remember Elizabeth Ann as a woman of prayer, hospitality, compassion and peace who has blessed the lives of many.
The Vigil Service is Thursday, April 10th, at 7:00 p.m. and the Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, April 11th, at 11:00 AM, BOTH at St. Mary-on-the-Lake, 1663 Killarney Way, Bellevue, WA 98004. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. at Holyrood Catholic Cemetery.
Remembrances may be made to the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace Retirement Fund, P. O. Box 248, Bellevue, WA 98009.
