Grace Strate Obituary
Grace Arlene Strate born in Greeley, Colorado in 1926 has left the company of her loving family on the 16th of March to join her husband Vern Donal Strate who predeceased her in 1996.
Arlene attended University of Northern Colorado, and married in 1943. After the family moved to Seattle in 1956, she began a career with the National Bank of Commerce, and retired from Rainier Bank as a senior bank officer in 1982. In retirement she enjoyed travelling with her husband, studying genealogy, word games and puzzles, and visiting with her family and friends.
Arlene's last months were challenged by kidney failure, but while frustrated by this she maintained a positive attitude until succumbing to heart failure. Arlene is survived by her children Jaclyn Brandt, Don Strate and Randall Strate; grandchildren David Brandt, Steven Brandt, and Sean Strate; and great-granddaughter Kiarra Strate.
