I worked with John when we worked for the Boeing Company in Renton. He was always jovial and good natured. Rest in peace John.

I knew John for at least 40 years in the ice business. As my territory decreased I lost contact with him except for seeing him at the National conventions. He always greeted me with a smile and remembered who I was. I remember him for his highly ethical business policies. He will be missed by old friends like me, by family and by his many business contacts who, I'm sure, hold him in as high esteem as I do.

Some people we only get to know for a short time in this world but they make you feel so loved and important that it feels like your life was only complete once you met them.
John,
I miss your smiling face and your love for adventure. I will miss your fun, enthusiastic and brilliant mind.

Dear Sherry,
I am sending my heartfelt sympathies to you with John's passing. You may recall, we were classmates at WSHS in 1963. I knew John in the Corvette Marque Club for three decades as a competitor's toughest competitor. I shared his passion for America's ONLY true sports car: the Corvette! John was always upbeat with a great sense of humor; everyone admired his love of speed. We truly enjoyed collecting trophies at the awards banquets. If the 14 inches of Portland snow melts, I will drive my yellow Corvette to his funeral on Saturday.
Warm regards,
