John N. Lavallee, MD

December 24, 1925 - July 5, 2016

John Noel Lavallee passed away peacefully in Cannon Beach, Oregon on July 5th, 2016 with family by his side. John was born in Morinville, Alberta. He was predeceased by his son, John Francis; father, Francis; mother, Ninette; brothers, Louis, Nelson, Gerry, Francis and sister, Colette. He is survived by his wife, Theresa; son, Dan (Jodie); and granddaughters, Isabel and Caroline; brothers, Bernard (Connie), Henry (Joyce), and Edward (Jean).

He served in the Canadian Armed forces during WWII, studied pediatrics and psychiatry - practicing in Seattle from 1961-2000 and worked various assignments for the Medical Doctors Association until 2010. He had just celebrated his 63rd wedding anniversary and will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on July 14th, 2016 at St. Peter Parish, 2807 15th Ave S, Seattle, Wa 98144. The family requests no flowers please.

Oh how you will be missed!! You influenced my life so much and brought so much joy and happiness to those who knew you and those who crossed paths with you even briefly on this earth. I know I'll see you again and you'll probably have your hat on. Thank you for all the smiles, Dr. Lavallee, thank you for blessing so many, for your laughter, humor, and stories. Until we meet again...
