This popped up in my email. So much had changed in 8 years. Missing John and really missing Karen so much.
Thinking of you, Emmy.
Praying you stay safe and healthy in this pandemic.

Emmy, Lisa and Karen, I'm so sorry for your loss. I will always remember John for the travelling pink flamingos. I don't remember who started it but there were 3 plastic pink flamingos that travelled between your yard and ours in the dead of night. One winter morning we woke up to find them in our front yard, courtesy of John, in about 6 inches of snow wearing hawaiian leis. Then some morning maybe weeks later they'd wake up in your yard dressed in new attire, courtesy of my mom. The other neighbors got a kick out of watching Carolyn and John's travelling flamingos. It's these great memories that will keep our parents in our hearts and minds everyday. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
