I will always treasure Jim's wisdom, courage, gentleness and dry wit. I still chuckle over his quips that brought such cheer to our support group. Heartfelt condolences to your family at this difficult time. Please call if I can help in any way.

I was sorry to learn of Jim's passing, and wanted you all to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. He exhibited such courage and dignity in dealing with his cancer, and had such vitality. It was a privilege to be acquainted with him through the Tuesday Cancer support group.

My deepest condolences to Joe and June and all of Jim's family. I knew Jim through the Group Health Cancer support group. My husband, too, died from lung cancer just around the time that Jim was diagnosed. My Bob died on February 7, 2004. Jim was diagnosed on February 4, 2004. I continued with the group after my husband's death because of the wonderful support there. When Jim first came to group, I was touched by his courage in the face of this dreaded disease. His humor throughout was inspiring. It was an honor to meet him, and to meet his father, Joe. It is hard for those left behind. I know that first hand. Just know that Jim is at peace and he will always be in your hearts. Many blessings to you at this time and in the future.
