To the Kieras family,
I am one of Ruth's sisters and I want to say that I am so sorry for the loss of your dear wife, mother, daughter and friend. I am praying that God will comfort you each day as only He can and give you the help that you need to live each day. She was such a precious gift to you. May those good memories give you strength.

I cleaned house for the Kieras family for several years. It was always special when I would first get there: as she always had time for a short visit before I started cleaning. I am saddened at the sudden loss for the family and for all the lives she has touched. I will surely miss her too. Kris Pinto

To the family of Julia Kieras: I grew up across the street from Julia.....she was my eighth grade "buddy"!! I last saw her in 1990 and will always remember her spirit for life and adventure!! I will miss her and my condolences to David and the children.

Dear Dr. Kieras,
It is with great saddness that I learn about the loss of Julia. I work with Quality Management at the VA and on occassion with Julia. My heart is heavy with saddness as I know your family is also. My prayers and thoughts are with you. She is a person who is not easily forgotten, her wonderful smile and kindness to everyone she came in contact with. Dave & Daughters -- My deepest sympathy to you & your family. Julie was so special. I met her at St. Vincent De Paul where we both taught (or they taught us) Sunday School for the 3 year olds. My heart goes out to you, she was so young. Stay strong in the Lord, he is with you.

My son went to co-op preschool with Corrie and Allie. Julie had such vibrant and positive energy and it showed in the way she related to the girls and to others. It was always such a pleasure to be in her company. I know she will be missed greatly. My heart goes out to her family and friends.

I worked closely with Julia on the QTeam at the Seattle VA and was shocked and saddened to hear of her passing. Julia was a special person with a big heart and a big grin. That is how I will always remember her.

Julia and I started in Quality Management at the VA on the same day, many years ago. We shared an office together and became the best of friends. We shared so much about life - she was always so vibrant. I have many, many wonderful memories of her. I will miss her. My heart goes out to her family.
