The Friends of Soos Creek Park deeply appreciate Karen's voluntary service to the community, including her participation in many Earth Day and Make a Difference Day litter pick-ups in Soos Creek Park. She was a wonderful person and a pleasure to be with. She will be deeply missed.

Vicki - I'm sure neigher of us would recognize each other on the street now but I've never lost Karen & family from my memory, which started in North Renton when we were in 3rd grade but drifted apart after our marriages. I had heard of Karen's breast cancer thru Gloria who by chance became a good (happy hour good) friend of my Mom's & got caught up a bit on you & Karen.
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss & share that lost feeing inside. If you feel like it, maybe we could share memories, perhaps happier ones on my part as I kind of remember tormenting you. Carol Olson Barth
