Kenneth was born in Fargo, North Dakota and moved to Seattle when he was 6 months old. Kenneth grew up in Ballard and graduated from Ballard High School in 1942. He went into the Air Force and was sent overseas to serve his country in WWII. When Kenneth returned he attended Seattle University on the GI Bill and graduated in 1951. with an Electrical Engineering Degree. Kenneth married Anita Jane Rogers in 1947. Kenneth and Anita worked together building a construction company that built apartments and condominiums in Ballard. His family and friends were the recipients of many years of trips to the ocean, Lake Chelan, boating in the San Juans and fishing in Westport and Ilwaco. But, his time spent with his children and grandchildren in the simple everyday events of life, holidays, school and sporting events brought him the greatest joys. He and Anita could always be found at one of the grandkids events. His natural smile and warm handshake made everyone feel instantly at ease. He will be missed greatly by his family and those that knew him. Services will be held at Acacia on December 18, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Ballard First Lutheran Church Building Fund.
