Mary Ann and Family--
I am SO shocked and sorry to hear of this unexpected tragedy you've had to endure with the loss of your husband and father. My heart is breaking for you. I never actually met Ken, but thru talking to Mary Ann at work, I felt his warmth and kindness that is echoed in these notes. A very special man, with an extraordinary wife, raising exceptional children. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

To Ryan and Family,
Ryan we were so sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad. Having met him in Vancouver when you were in the hospital he seemed like a very fine man and someone I felt like I had known for years. I lost my father when I was 26 so I know how difficult this is for you as a young man but as you go through life you will have wonderful memories and you can live by your Dad's example.
Take care. You and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Merely saying the name, K e n
Q u i n l a n brings to mind and
hearts the kind of soul he was. He
was a man that "walked the walk" and lived to serve others. We are
all blessed to have been called his
friends. Well done my friend--rest in peace.

I was saddened at the news of Ken's sudden passing. I have known Ken for over 25 years and consider him one of my mentors throughout the years. Ken was always working in the customer’s best interest. He loved his relationships with everyone he worked with. Ken was a man of integrity and was a true gentleman. The marine industry has lost a good friend. My thoughts and prayers go out to Mary Ann and the entire Quinlan family.

Ken was a very special freind to my brother Lloyd Cunningham for many years and was the one Rep. who stepped up and did all he could do to help me when I stepped into the business with Lloyd. He went way beyond to help me understand the products and there application to the fishing business. He was a very special person and I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you at this difficult time.

I was very sad to hear the news about Ken this past Monday. Ken was our salesperson at SeaMar for many years (B&J Commercial in Anchorage Alaska). Ken was one of my favorite reps; I really enjoyed talking with him and our visits when we did business together, as did my staff.
I have been thinking about your family all week. My dad was lost only a few months ago unexpectedly in an accident, so I deeply feel for the sadness and emotions you all must be experiencing at this time.
Quite strange to me; shortly before I learned of your sad news, I was looking at over 100 elk in a meadow near the house (haven't seen them in years and thought of Ken recalling the conversation I had with him about how excited he was about his last elk hunt!)
I wish your entire family peace in your hearts and certainly joy with the celebration of his life. Ken was truly a very special person and I will miss him, we will all miss him very much from the store.

So very sorry to hear about Ken. We have both been in this marine industry for years, and shared some good laughs, and conversations with all the changes taking place. He was a great warrior. We will all miss him. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends. Sincerely, Bill Paschall

Ken was my brother's very best friend from childhood until Don's death in 2005. He was a permanent fixture in our home and has remained so in our hearts throughout the years. He was a loving and faithful son to his parents and always proud of his brothers and sister. He was respectful and thoughtful...even remembering my mother with a gift on his return from the Army.
Ken and Don shared so many experiences together, many involving fishing and hunting. They shared the childhood of boys...the transforming teen years...and became wonderful young men eventually marrying beautiful girls and each having their own little families.
My mother and I will always be so thankful for that special friend God provided in Ken.
Our hearts go out to Mary Ann, Sean and Ryan...and also to Greg, Bonnie and Ron. Please know you are all in our prayers.
Lovingly,
Sue (Pennington)May
and Mary Johnson
