Margaret Copp ENGLUND July 15, 1924 - April 8, 2005 Beloved wife, mother and Auntie Margaret. A lifelong resident of Bainbridge Island, Margaret spent her entire life loving others, especially her beloved husband Cliff, who preceded her in death in 1989, her daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Stuart Anderson, and most amazing grandson, Blake, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, honorary daughters and sons. Auntie Margaret knew the true meaning of giving, of caring, and of "Auntiehood." She loved us all as we were, as God made us, warts and all, although she did not hesitate to give a bit of Auntie-Advice on occaision. "God love you!" We were blessed to have her, and she was truly loved. In her memory, please pray for peace, paste little fake birds on lots of silk plants, and bake this chocolate cake for everyone you love. Often. Auntie Margaret's Chocolate Vinegar Cake Mix with whisk: 1 ¼ cup flour, 1 cup sugar, 3 T. cocoa, 1 tsp soda, 1/8 tsp salt, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 T. vinegar, 5 T. melted butter, 1 cup water. Throw into a greased 9" cake pan and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Melt 3 T. butter, ½ cup chocolate chips, 1 T. light corn syrup and ¼ tsp vanilla for a glaze on cooled cake. Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 12th, at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church on Bainbridge Island. Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday, April 13th, at 12:00 noon, also at St. Cecilia's.
