It has been a year since you have been gone. Sometimes it seems like it was yesterday, and other times it seems like an eternity. When this accident happened, I'm not selfish enough to just think about me, because I know so many others have been so deeply impacted by your loss, but I will say that my life has changed in a huge way. There were always those times that I looked forward to seeing you, so that my family could experience times with you, it always made me proud to see my kids smile when you would spend time with us, and they would laugh and look forward to when you would come over to the house for what we called the "tall Paul sleep overs". You are not only my friend, you are my brother, you are an uncle, a family member to us, and to my mom and dad, and my sister. We all miss you so much, I still have voice mail messages on my phone from you that I have not been able to listen to because I know the pain that it will bring to hear your voice. I will say this brother, you bring a smile to my face all the time. I think about you, and all the times we shared together with others, the football games, the camping trips, the sleep overs and all of the above. The memories are endless and I will always remember you with a smile, and your laugh is still something I think about all the time. You were always honest with me and that is one thing I always could depend on from you as a friend of mine. What hurts the most is that my kids don't get to see their uncle anymore, we had such a fun relationship with Uncle Tall, going on our hikes on the golf course and movie nights and all the rest. Anyway, Tall Paul, you will always be my brother, you are gone, but you will never be forgotten by me, or anyone else that knew you because those that did, loved you so much for the person that you are, caring, thoughtful and trusting. I shared this photo of you and I at the Seahawks game which was always the best of times, every time. I love you big bro, and I miss you every day.

I only worked with Paul for a few months, but he always had something funny and offbeat to say. I heard he had an amazing mind for numbers too. It's a much sadder place without him. Jennifer Meeker

Paul you were my best friend. There are many people that call you their best friend too. That is because of the person that you are, they way you always treated the people that you loved. You will be greatly missed, I love you and will think of you every day for the rest of my life.
