I only just read of Dick's passing today, when I read about the shop closing. I moved off of the hill almost 3 years ago, so I guess I'm out of touch. My partner and I went in the shop on a whim to buy bags, ending up buying a vacuum, and had the BEST time talking to Dick. His stories were incredible! I always wanted to go back to hear more. I guess we hadn't yet, because we never had a problem with the vacuum! I am so sorry for your loss, and just know he is missed by some people who had the good fortune of meeting him only once. My deepest condolences.
