Robert Moore Obituary

Robert L. MOORE Age 78, of Bellevue, passed away Sunday, Nov. 27th, 2011. Mr. Moore was born Aug. 27, 1933 in St. Louis, MO. He attended St. Joseph Institute for the deaf in St. Louis, MO and graduated in 1947. He studied at Washington University of St. Louis and married Billie Ellis in 1954. They made their home there until 1976. Relocated to Bellevue to continue his education at the University of Washington to become an engineer and worked at Boeing for 20 years. Mr. Moore enjoyed traveling, listening to country music and was an avid reader. He was a big fan of sports and enjoyed doing all the finish work on his house in Kimberlee Park.He was a member of Seattle Chapter of the Catholic Deaf Association and attended church regularly at St. Madeleine Sophie. Survivors include Patty Moore of Santa Maria, CA and two grandchildren; Natasha Moore of San Luis Obispo, CA. Memorial Mass 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6th, 2011, at St. Madeleine Sophie Catholic Church. 4400 130th Pl. SE Bellevue, WA 98006. A reception will be held at the church afterwards.
