Robert Sigvartsen Obituary

Robert "Sig" SIGVARTSEN Age 83, of Lynnwood, died May 13, 2006 in Seattle. Bob was born September 6, 1922 in Everett, Washington to Hans and Johanna Sigvartsen. He graduated from Washington State University. Bob joined the United States Air Force, retiring as Chief Master Sergeant. Upon retirement, he moved his family back to the Seattle area where he worked as an Engineer, retiring both from Boeing Aircraft Manufacturing and the City of Lynnwood. His Catholic faith and providing a Catholic education for his children have been a priority, along with his parish, St. Pius X, and the Knights of Columbus. Bob worked hard and enjoyed his retirement with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He loved to travel and put many miles on his car with trips to Reno and Vegas quite frequently. Bob was generous and always there to help and support anyone who needed him. He was a true gentleman in every sense of the word and will be missed very much. Bob is survived by his wife of 49 years, Marjorie; daughters, Sheila (Steve) Noebel, and Patti (Mike) Leen; daughter-in-law, Stacey Sigvartsen; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Bill Sigvartsen in 1999. There will be a Rosary at 7:00 p.m., Wed., May 17, 2006 at Beck's Funeral Home, 405 - 5th Ave. S., Edmonds (425) 771-1234. A Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 18, 2006 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 22209 - 58th Ave. W., Mountlake Terrace, WA. Memorials may be given in Bob's name to the St. Pius X School Fund.

Marge, Sheila, Patty, and your families,

Sheila, Patty, Mom and families,



We are so sorry for the loss of Sig. He fought so bravely and was so incredibly strong. He was so lucky to have such loving people around him that took such wonderful care of him. It is truly a reflection of the love that he obviously gave all of you during his life.



Please find peace during this very difficult time, because he is now at peace.



Our families will always be intertwined by our loss and our love for these wonderful people that made up the pieces of our lives - our mothers, fathers and brothers. .
