Ruth Yusen Obituary

Ruth M. YUSEN Ruth was born in Weleetka, OK on December 7, 1928 and died in Issaquah, WA on November 25, 2011. She was raised in Tulsa, OK where she met and married the love of her life, Jack Yusen, on January 9, 1949. A homemaker, wife and mother, she and Jack moved to Seattle in 1962, living first on Mercer Island moving later to Bellevue and Issaquah. She was preceded in death by her mother Nana Boxer, father Nathan Wallach and sister Idell Berman. Besides Jack, she is survived by their three sons: Jeff (Natalie) and their two sons David and Daniel; Steve and his two daughters Hayley and Jenna; and Ed (Kara) and their son Matthew and daughter Emily. Also surviving is her beloved sister Sylvia Shelan of Longview, TX. Ruth was much loved and respected by her husband, sons and their families, relatives and many friends. Remembrances are suggested to the Marsha Rivkin Center for Ovarian Cancer or the Caroline Kline Galland Home. Services have been held.

Jack,
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
I only met Ruth once at my apartment with you, Barbara and Jerry, Ted and Lela.
We had a delightful dinner at Luciano's and it was an evening I will always remember. Ruth was a true treasure.

Ruth was a warm, loving, caring mother in law and was so good to me through the years! She was a wonderful grandmother to my 2 daughters Hayley and Jenna. We are all heartbroken and will miss her so much!
