I met Dr Gleason when I was a lab assistant at Providence hospital for one year. In no small part I pursued a career in pathology because of his example and I think of him often. I wish I knew of his tennis skills so that I could have challenged him to a game.

Terry was a lovely, kind neighbor from the first day we moved into the neighborhood. I will miss seeing him out puttering in the garden with the grandkids. Much sympathy to the whole family. Anita

Terry and I (both of us born in 1936), were Pathology associates for a few years at Northwest Hospital (Seattle). I will always remember Terry as a wonderful partner to be around, an excellent tennis player and a fair chess player.

We met Terry & Helen as a result of our respective children(Mary Bridget & Tom Pehl) being married in Seattle. Since that time Jan & I have spent numerous occasions talking and Fine Dining with the Gleasons. I'm quite certain any one who knew Terry, knew how he loved Italian Cuisine. When ever we visited Seattle, Terry would choose a favorite Italian Restaurant. Many times this was only Terry & me as Helen and Jan preferred shopping. His two most favorites were Il Terrazzo Carmine & Tuilio's. Terry was a great conversationist with his wide knowledge of interests.
Travel-especially Italy, poetry(even had me reading verses), & food always were the center of our long lunches. Our last lunch was September 25th. I cherished those times.
Someone else mentioned two traits that we all have experienced--The twinkle in those Irish eyes and that wry smile.
We will all miss you, Terry.
Our utmost support for Helen and Family.

Terry was the first resident/mentor for me, starting as a pathology resident at the VA hospital in July, 1969, and after that, a fellow pathologist and friend. I will miss you, Terry. My condolences to Terry's family.

What an honor it has been to know Terry. Our prayers are with the entire Gleason family.

Terry did light up a room. He was fun to be around. He knew how to get my father to get into his "laughing mode". He was a blessing to all of us that knew him. You knew that he genuinely liked you.

Well done! May you rest in peace.
