Andrew Yoest Obituary

Andrew John Yoest, Jr., 85, of Tipton, passed away December 22, 2010 at St. Marys Health Center in Jefferson City, MO.

He was born July 3, 1925 at California, MO, son of Andrew J., Sr. and Agnes Hartman Yoest. On October 4, 1947, in Tipton, MO, he married Mary A. Elmlinger who survives.

Andrew was a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church. He was a World War II Veteran. He had worked at Fischer Pool Table Mfg. and Fasco Industries in Tipton, and enjoyed farming. He liked to do woodworking and working with his livestock. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife of 63 years; sons Dan Yoest (Guin) of Washington, MO and John Yoest (Chanry) of Tipton, MO; daughters Andrea (J.W.) Tilbury of California, MO and Delores (Richard) Bardwell of California, MO; brothers Don & Marilyn Yoest of Tipton, MO, and James & Marge Yoest of Lincoln, CA; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be December 27 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Tipton, MO with Fr. Fred Elskamp officiating. Burial to be in St. Andrew's Cemetery in Tipton, MO. Friends may call from 9:00 A.M. until service time at the church on December 27, 2010. Rosary will be at 9:00 a.m.
